  1. Lie on your back with your hands underneath your hips and lift your legs to 45-degrees of hip flexion.

  2. Hold the up-position, keeping your legs in the air for the specified amount of time. Keep your abs tight, core engaged, breathing deeply.

  3. You should feel this exercise working your hip flexors, quads, and core.
