How to Arm Swing

Steps:

Stand with your feet hip-width apart, with your arms stretched horizontally. Move with control as you cross your arms in front of you.

Extend at the shoulder as you swing your arms behind you. Repeat back and forth movement for the specified amount of time. Gradually increase your range of motion as you complete each back and forth movement. Repeat the movement for the specified amount of time or repetitions.

Arm swings are a great way to actively stretch your shoulders and loosen up before exercise. Be sure to maintain good posture and move through the range of motion with control.
