How to Static HIIT Sprint

Exercise Families: Cardio

Equipment: Bodyweight

Trainer: Ashley Steele

Steps:

  1. Stand with your feet hip-width apart, arms bent at your sides, maintaining good posture.

  2. Begin a static sprint by driving your left knee upward. Your right arm should swing forward while your left arm swings back. Keep your right knee slightly bent.

  3. Return your left foot to the ground simultaneously lifting your right knee. Swing your left arm forward and your right arm back. Keep your left knee slightly bent and continue the static sprints for the specified amount of time.

  4. Static HIIT Sprints are a great way to burn calories and elevate your heart rate with minimal equipment. Be sure to give maximal effort for the specified amount of time.
